The University Series

If you've read my blog for a while you will know that I have already done a few university related posts already, however, I am starting the second year shortly and it only seems like five minutes ago since I was waiting anxiously for my results, uni acceptance and then the kicking in of nerves and excitement for the start of the new chapter and adventure in my life.

So... YES, I have been there, done that when it comes to freshers, moving away from home, finding new friends and just everything else that comes with starting university and growing up from what you're used to. I had so many unanswered questions, queries, worries and just wondering what uni life was like in general. I thought what better time than to put all my thoughts, experiences, tips and hacks into a mini series all about going and enjoying university.

Image via Pinterest

I want this series to be a place where any one who is heading to university this year can go to for advice and people can year upon year. I want people to be able to feel excited for the big change in their life and to be able to say 'okay I am nervous but what's the worst that could happen'.

It can be scary and daunting, however, with this series, I aim to cover topics such as money management and budgeting, moving away from home, study tips, a guide to surviving freshers and much more so it doesn't seem like such a massive leap. I will always be checking my comments, emails and DMs for if anyone has any personal questions, which I will answer the best I can or any topics they would like me to address.

Keep your eyes on this space and make sure you check out each post on various different topics. They will go live every Monday at 7pm so you've got no excuse to miss out.

Thank you xx

My Festival Essentials

I know a lot of festivals have been and gone but there is still a few left in the pipeline including Creamfields, Leeds Fest and more!! There’s just something about being in a field watching your favourite band or DJ perform. And while planning which stages to fight your way to the front too. It’s also important to know what essentials you’ll need to survive the weekend.

This week I have been gathering all my bits and pieces that I need for my next festival which is Boardmasters next week down in Newquay. Considering we are camping Wednesday to Monday I really had new clue on how much I needed to take. Which is why I thought I’d share my list of festival essentials that you need in your backpack this summer!

I will be taking my phone purely to allow me to meet up with friends, occasionally update social media and let my mum know that I’m ok! So for me, portable phone chargers and cables are a MAHOOSIVE must have! Even if you don’t take your phone or on the off chance you do run out of battery, it’s probably best to also have something with you that allows you to tell the time. Pretty much all festivals run to strict timings so you don't want to be missing out on your favourite acts and bands that you're really excited to see!

Now is it even a festival if you don’t cover your face in glitter or gems? I think not! Which is why I have loads of pots of glitter from Afflecks (in Manchester) and they are are the perfect festival essential. When applied with facial glue it is super easy for that festival glam, without looking like a unicorn just threw up on you. Other makeup products I am taking are my basic daily essentials, so concealer, pressed powder, brow kit and mascara. Since you can't take glass I've transferred my foundation into plastic bottles which can be bought in stores like Boots or Superdrug.

Thinking more practical, I have decided to get little miniature bottles of the daily essentials such as shampoo, deodorant, shower gel, shaving foam, razor, body spray, dry shampoo, body/face wipes... the list is endless! I literally hit up Primark and Superdrug looking for the best deals as there was no point spending a fortune for it to be used maybe twice. And not forgetting sun cream and aftersun as its mad how just standing in a field can leave you burnt and in pain for the rest of the weekend.

And finally, there are the obvious festival outfits! As everyone always seems to dress to impress. I'm gonna risk it and be a mom her but it is important to remember that no matter how cool you look in photos it's always best to be prepared for the dreaded rain us Brits are used to. I haven't packed too much that is hoping for rain apart from my wellies, a waterproof jacket and cheap ponchos. Here is to hoping it is dry, it can get cooler on an evening so I have my denim jacket and hoodie for those nights!

Are you going to any festivals this year? If so, what are your festival essentials?

Let The Holidays Begin...!

I am totally and utterly head over heels for Greece. It has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too! This year had been my first that we have travelled to Skiathos on our family holiday and it definitely won't be our last. The food, the atmosphere, the beach, the people…it is just perfection.

My one and only goal for the week was to be totally relaxed and ready for the rest of what summer has to throw at me. I seem to be one of those people whose mind just keeps going at a stupid speed even when there is no need. But being able to chill by the pool, go on walks to the beach and sunbathe by the sea... it was pure bliss!!

We stayed at “Skiathos Palace Hotel” which is right on the beach front, and just a couple hundred steps from the hotel door to the beach! It isn't in the heart of the island and is a little further away from the town, it is so peaceful but has a whole lotta character.

Skiathos town itself is bursting full of tiny shops, lush traditional Greek restaurants and more ice cream stalls and cocktails bars than you could ever imagine. Basically, I found it the most dreamy place…ever. The food in Skiathos is just so god damn tasty! Like everything is so fresh, their fruits, salads, bread, dips, yoghurts, I could go on and on!

One evening in Skiathos town we went to the open air cinema to watch Mamma Mia and it was so AHHHMAZING as knowing they filmed parts of that movie in the town of this quaint island was pretty cool!! Just sitting with my popcorn, singing along to Mamma Mia under the stars was perfect.

My family and I had the most glorious time and have all come back home feeling super refreshed and even more ready for all the exciting things to come!

These photos are just a snippit from the holiday and I’ve actually about another good two hundred more saved from the holiday away alongside a 40-second vlog which is up on my YouTube channel which you guys should go check out! I was planning on doing an outfit post or two but I literally wore beach dresses, bikinis and light dresses the majority of my time so I won't bore you all with that.

A Summer Reading List

As someone who used to be a huge reader, I have slacked off for the past couple of years and I never feel I have the time to truly sit down and enjoy a good book. Luckily, with summer and my holibobs just around the corner, I couldn't resist from getting some new books to read whilst I'm chilling by the pool and soaking in the sunshine. I love sharing what I have got and what I am excited for and anyone who knows me knows I love putting lists together for pretty much anything, so why not share my top summer reads for this year.

I do love a good murder mystery book I tried to keep my summer reads as quite light hearted and not as deep, so I shall keep the murder mysteries for winter when its torrential rain and I just want to be snuggled up in blankets all cosy and relaxed. I’m looking forward to each of the books on my summer reading list and can’t wait to dig into them! Here they are:

I can't wait to immerse myself in the world and life of Robin Wilde. I have read so many reviews already on Louise's debut novel and I am bloody excited to read it! #WildeLikeMe

I am not a lover of cliché, stereotypical love stories and novels, and I have heard that Holding Up The Universe is a book I need! It is a moving tale of two teenagers finding solace in each other. Let's hope it is as engaging and difficult to put as the reviews you.

I absolutely love Giovanna Fletcher as an author, I have read all of her other books so I know this one will no doubt be the same and it'll be a book I can't put down!

Taken from Zoella's book club last summer, Jennifer Niven has to be another of my favourite authors, and yes I do have two books from her in my summer reading list year. I have heard this book is a tear jerker and I am super excited to get stuck into this book.

This pick is a little different from the others as it is an account of the horrific events and bizarre life of Jean-Claude Romand. I don't know if this will be my top favourite for around the pool or whether to keep it aside for a later date but I'll give it a go.

What’s on your summer reading list? What books do you recommend?

A Day at the Races

As you may have seen on pretty much all of my social media I went to Carlisle races for one of their massive events this summer as Jess Glynne brought her spectacular outdoor summer show to Carlisle Racecourse.

Personally, I love getting glammed up and dressed to the nines. So this just seemed the perfect occasion to get my glad rags on and add extra glitter. It felt kinda good placing a little bet here and there on a few of the races, even though I didn't come into any fortune it was still an amazing evening and night spent with family and friends.

Seeing all the ladies and girls dressed up in dresses, heels and the odd fascinator had to have been a highlight for me as I absolute lurvvved seeing all the different styles and fashion that is in this summer for the races and other formal events too. So, with that in mind, I just wanted to share my outfit for the evening:

Dress: New Look // £24.99
(This was my own from years ago, however, above is a similar one)

Are you heading to any races this year? If so, what are you planning on wearing and where is your favourite place to shop?

Lets Talk About... University Year One

Today I want to talk about my experience of my first year at university and just everything about the past year. If you've been following my posts, you'll know that I was super duper nervous to move away from home, make new friends and settling into my course. However, a year a little everything has changed! And I couldn't have asked for a better lot of friends, I am loving my course and moving away isn't as scary as it first seems.

Was it what I expected? HELL NO!

It did it. I made it through first year!

Coming to university was something I was scared of, not in the sense of the course and work load but more the social side, being happy and enjoying every moment. Don't get me wrong my first year has had its downs, with the stress from multiple deadlines for assignments, making sure I managed my own budget each week and simply finding that perfect balance of socialising/hanging out with friends and doing research, reading and work.

BLAH BLAH BLAH!?

But a year later, I finally feel like I have found people that I want to keep in my life for a very long time.

It all comes down to my best friend, flatmate and now she gets the joys of sharing a house with me for another year (poor thing?!). You know when you just click with someone and within weeks you are already having deep chats, know each other inside and out well Ciara Tumility is that girl. It's so cliché but I really do hope we stay friends for the rest of life.

It doesn't just stop there, Lucy Farrell you absolute gem, she is the type of girl that everyone needs in their life as she will always have your back no matter what. I could talk about so many others, however, I don't want to bore you all to sleep. So.... finally, my boyfriend, Alex, not gonna lie feels weird saying that online to you all but yes I do have one and ahhh I frankly I don't have the words, to sum up, the feeling of being genuinely happy with someone, like it is just truly wonderful.

Honestly, the best part of the university for me has to have been falling in love with the friends I have made and I am absolute lurvvvvin' the course so I'm learning and knowing that both are making me the woman I am today! First year has certainly shown my weaknesses, strengths, flaws and skills and it is safe to say I am a little bit nervous about what I am capable of achieving in my next year too!

Here’s to year two at the best place with the best people!!

//

If you are having doubts or worries about going to university, don't get me wrong not everyone has the best of experiences but if you want the challenge and want to make the most of exploring, becoming the person you should be and finding some of the most amazing friends it is certainly worth it. I'm all for taking a little risk now and then to become happy and content with life as it's too short to sit back and do nothing

Detoxing Your Life

I am a big believer in fresh starts and getting rid of any negativity in your life! Often people do this at the start of a new year, beginning of each month. People feel 'detoxing' is healthy eating, drinking green boost smoothies, working out, blah blah blah... However myself, I feel it is something I do when I am feeling unmotivated, uninspired, or if I feel I am stuck in a rut of doing the same boring thing. Life is too short to be stuck doing the same thing each day with the same people and not being able to explore, have fun and live life a little on the wild side !!

To start with I would focus primarily on getting rid of any bad toxins, negativity & anything else that may be weighing me down. Then I can build upon it and feel refreshed and brand new! Think of it as a way to create a clean state where you will be happy, relaxed and content with most aspects (if not everything) of your life.

I thought there was no better than to put all my ways and means of detoxing your life into a list. So feel free to take ideas and try it on yourself.... it may work wonders.

1. Taking breaks from social media- it helps me just rewind, makes me feel new and motivated with brand new ideas and so much more energy.

2. Being outside- so many days I spend inside whether thats at home, in the library etc and it just becomes so monotanous stayng in the same place. I often love to get out, explore, go for walks, sit in parks, take my camera, go shopping and so much more.

3. Cut ties and communication- this can tend to be a difficult one, however, if people or social media are holding you back, only you can stop yourself from letting it have a negative impact. Deleting old messages, photos, unfollowing... all of those make you feel so much more relaxed and a feeling of relief, knowing there is no way they can bring negativity in to your life

4. Look after yourself- for me it is the MOST important thing. When I feel like everything is getting on top of me I turn to a “pamper” evening. My pamper evenings are usually pretty simple, its more just having a bath, putting a face mask on, listening to my favourite albums and reading a book. I try just totally have the time for me, away from my phone and everyone else so I feel totally relaxed.

5. Do what you love- focus on doing things that you enjoy, surround yourself with people whos company you love and make the most of all the things in life (whether that be little or big) as time is too short to miss out on anything.

Basically, do things and go places so you don't regret not doing it in the future and try not to dwell on the past. It can’t be changed, and that’s totally okay. Instead, plan what you are doing now, what’s your next step, and how you’re going to do this. Fill yourself with positivity and look forward not back. Always. Always. Always.

Festival Glitter Fix

FESTIVAL SEASON IS FINALLY HERE!! And I cannot wait to be out dancing in the fields with my friends! With Coachella and Parklife already been and gone, it certainly kick started the festival season with a bang...! With plenty more festivals ahead of us I thought I would share with you some makeup and glitter inspiration to get you just as excited for the festival season as I am!!

Glitter is one of those beauty products that can be used all-over, but everyone seems to be loving the glitter under-eye accents and glittered cheekbones, a la galactic glam.

Gemstones, Glitter, sparkles and stickers – the more we can pile on to our faces come festival season, the happier we all are. It is super duper simple and you can buy little pots of glitter from nearly every beauty store these days or ordered online for cheap.

I dab Vaseline on to the areas of my face where I want the glitter to be, then swipe the glitter on top and seal with hair spray if you wish (close your eyes when you do this!). When I am going for a more defined look with chunky pieces of glitter I also use a makeup brush for easy application!

Stores such as Primark and New Look all sell various different gemstones, temporary tattoos, stickers to suit any festival look, whether you want to go extreme and super sparkly or subtle, they have loads which are worth checking out!!

But, until next time, let festival season commence!

Super Boost Brekkie Bowl

As you probably know by now I absolutely love making smoothies, and this year I am a little TOO obsessed with creating new smoothie combos and ideas. Whether it’s detox greens or a super simple berry fruity one I lavvvvv them all… After seeing others make these I gave them a try, so I thought I'd share a little something I’ve been loving a hell of a lot recently… Smoothie Brekkie Bowls!

You will need:
  • A cup of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries.
  • A kiwi and banana
  • A squeeze of honey.
  • A spoonful of yoghurt.
  • Summer fruits juice.
  • Granola

Let’s Do This:
Okay, so now for the fun part…. All ya gotta do its pop all the strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, honey, yoghurt and fruit juice in a blender, make sure its well blended and then pour it in to a bowl. Add some granola, sliced kiwi, banana and strawberries. It is THAT easy.

So yum.

These are smoothie bowls are perfect if you’ve got a little extra time for breakfast, or if you’ve got friends over and wanna make something super easy, that looks extra special and tastes even better (especially on summer mornings)!!

Blushin' Pink Stylin'

I am actually the worst when it comes to outfit posts considering the amount of clothes I have and I keep on buying but hopefully, this is going to change over the summer! For anyone who knows me or has even been shopping then you'll know I'm really fussy with my clothes, so when I find something I love, I end up wearing it over and over! And I tend to stick to very black or white clothing, the majority of them consisting of stripes... lol!?

However, since summer is now upon us, the sun is out, I am absolute lurvingggg blush, dusty pink clothing! Although I have stuck to my usual stripes, I decided to add a splash of colour (shock horror) and mix things up a little! No doubt this outfit will be worn and worn multiple times as I am just in love with it at the moment.

Blush Pink Tie Waist Cropped Trousers // New Look: £19.99

Q+A Time?

I wanted to do something a little bit different for this post. I think sometimes when I am writing to you all I feel like everyone already knows things about me. You may feel like you do, but there’s never actually been a time when I have spoken about things such to what my favourite thing about blogging is or what camera I’m using. So, I thought it would be really nice to, well just speak about stuff and things.. things I am doing and that I love. This may be the most rambling post I've ever written but hey-ho here goes.

I never have been the best at answering questions BUT I hope these make some sense and that you enjoy the post. Let me know some of your answers to these same questions in the comments. I’d love to know more about you too!

What's your favourite thing about blogging?
Blogging is just something I love, I really don't think I could pinpoint one specific thing which is my favourite about it. I love how there are no rules, I can be as creative as I want. I can take photos and write about whatever I feel like, and I love it just to rewind, escape life and it's a perfect break from "reality" plus it's just fun!

What camera do you use?
Currently, I use the Canon EOS 700D with an 18-55mm lens. I am looking into investing in a new lens so if anyone has any recommendations for which lenses or where to look to get one then please comment below as I need all the help I can get.

Do you use lights to take your photos? If so, what do you use?
I don't use any lighting for my photos, most of the time I have to plan it around the time of day and weather! I rely on natural light which can be such a nightmare in winter when it's dark nights and dull days. Personally, sunlight is best for me.

How do I edit my pictures?
Currently, I have just been using PicMonkey as well as Snapseed and VSCO. I love pretty much all the filters on VSCO and particularly the filter A6! However, I really want to try out Lightroom, if anyone has used it let me know if it's worth the money and if it is easy to use etc.

What’s your go-to outfit?
Anyone who knows me it tends to be black and white stripes teamed with something dusty pink. All day everyday #soznotsoz.

If you could visit any one place, there would it be?
I think my absolute favourite place I’ve been has to have been New York City, I love everything about it there. The people, food, atmosphere and lifestyle.... it is just perfect. As for where I want to go, the list is pretty much endless.... Australia, LA, San Francisco. OHSOMANYPLACES!!!

What’s your favourite thing to take photos of?
This is such a hard one. I love trying to capture photos of people but I wouldn't say I was the most confident so I guess that is something I want to be able to improve and work on. But I think it's gotta be cute flat lays or city snaps. I love love love trying to capture what I see and share it with you guys.

Summer or Winter?
Definitely summer! I lurvee everything about it, from sitting in the park with friends, the sunshine, long warm nights, getting a tan, summer holidays, beaches, ice cream... okay, I'll shut up now you probably get the gist.

How do you get motivated? What if you just run out of ideas for photos?
When I get that mental block, I really try and just embrace it. I usually get my notebook out and have a few hours reading through blogs, brainstorming ideas and inspiration from magazines, not forgetting Pinterest too. Sometimes I just have to take a step back, look what is around me then I get inspired, only good things will come from it!

Did I ever want to stop blogging?
Yes! I have gotten so down on myself in the past but, I have never quit anything before in my life so I kept at it and I am so happy I did. I never imagined I would get to where I am today.

Go-To Messy Space Buns

Within my everyday fashion and style, I often love to mix it up a little and make each outfit a little different with something that stands out. I used to play it safe when it came to clothing, makeup and especially hair. However, recently I have learnt to experiment.

I have gone absolutely crazy for glitter over the past months and I can't help but turn my eyelids into mini disco balls and go OTT with the sliver and mermaid coloured glitter!! Plus, I think we all have our most treasured pair of shoes or clothing which is our go-to when wanting to add a little bit of pizzazz to any outfit. But when it comes to my hair I ALWAYS play it safe, up until recently as I am absolute lurvvvvin' messy full-head space buns!!

You may or may not have hopped on to the whole space bun trend last year? It wasn't a look a particular loved as I was never brave enough to try it out. However, I know already this is gonna be my go-to look for spring/summer/festival/date nights/brunch/you get the point. It wasn't difficult as once I began to experiment you realise how this look isn’t groundbreaking, plus it’s fast, playful, chic and it’s easy AF so let me show you how it’s done…

1 - Create two messy ponytails at the back of your head, and make sure they are lightly teased and I use sea salt spray to add texture to mine.

2- Wrap the pony tails around the base into buns and secure with a hair tie and use a couple of bobbypins to add extra security. I let mine come loose so some strands fall apart before setting them with hairspray.

To add to the messy look I tease some hair at the front to give it volume and texture.
Et voila, you have SPACE BUNS!

Mini Summer Essential Haul*

In the past couple of days I have picked up a few little things, and by a few, I mean five (oooops). Nevertheless I still wanted to write about what I bought recently, and these are gonna be some of my summer essentials, for some of the things I've already got planned so expect to see these feature a lot all over my Twitter and Instagram snaps.

Starting off with the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 32! It looks very coral pink however, it adds a splash of colour and once used with a neutral lipliner it is the perfect combo! Then I was bought the Eyelure Enchanted Lashes as a gift but I literally love wearing them I have bought them a couple of times now and they give the perfect natural lash look and the shape of them creates the perfect look whether you want to go casual or all out on your makeup.

Moving on to the final three items, recently I have teamed up with Coconut Lane and they have some of the sassiest, cutest products ever! I am in love with their wide range of sunglasses that are perfect for any occasion this summer. I well set for my summer holidays and the festivals I've got booked with friends.

I picked up the Marbs Sunglasses in 'Baby Pink' (£17) which I am madly in love with!! This year I am loving the pink colours and massive mirrored sunglasses, as I mean gotta block out those haters whilst looking styling! I can guarantee these sunnie-g's will be in all my summer photos and worn even when it is the slightest rays of sunshine. Since I've got two festivals to go to, I have already began looking at outfit inspo from Cochella and the sets of rings are the perfect accessory to finish off any festival look. I really struggle to find rings I love and fit yet, the Boho Opal Ring Set (£9) is a mix of rings and midi rings and I am in LOVE. Finally, I couldn't resist and by a new phone case that is just fitting to summer and all things holiday related, Coconut Lane have such a choice of pone cases I really struggled to chose one, but I went for the Palm Phone Case (£15).

Note: Keep on reading to the bottom get my 20% off code for Coconut Lane, so you can go treat yourself to something sassy, classy and little bit bad-assy this summer.

There's No Place Like... Home Sweet Home

As you could probably tell from my Northern Quarter post, I am absolutely loving living in Manchester and I have found soooo many new fave places to go… not only because it’s got crazy beautiful views or because there is SO much to do there, but also because of the oh so many lush places to eat at! But before I going ramble on about every single one of my favourite places to eat, I'll talk about one I've been to recently that I absolute lurveee and it's called "Home Sweet Home".

Each time I've been I instantly fall more in love with the place! Just everything about it, the drinks, food, decor, music and cakes, what more could you want. First time I went for brunch and had the best pancakes I've ever had, but oh no, these were not just any pancakes, they were topped with bacon, scrambled eggs, blueberries with… and wait for it…syrup drizzled all over. I was in heaven.

Other few times I have been, it has been either for lunch or dinner and ohh em gee the menu just keeps getting better and better. I have had tried to vary what I have chosen to eat, first time I went for the classic nachos which were super cheesy and had the best guacamole I have ever tasted! Second I felt a little more adventurous going for the BBQ pulled pork burrito and I was so fricking tasty I couldn't finish it (which I was very annoyed about) :( Plus to add that little extra they have some of the best ranged cocktails, from a sweet fruity twist to original butterbeer and their build your own G&T option which is perfect. Since it’s SOO close to summer now and as our evenings are brightening up it is such a lovely place to sit in their G&T garden with the sunshine beating down on you, BLISS!!

So guys, seriously, if you are ever in Manchester and around either Northern Quarter or Deansgate take a trip to the "Home Sweet Home" and you will not be disappointed. The staff are amazing, the food is perfect and the atmosphere is super lovely.

Experiences, Not Things!*

I've been fortunate enough to have partnered up with Eventbrite to help support and promote their GOMO: Going Out More Often campaign and this year they're continuing it with the trend, Experiences, Not Things!

I am a believer of the fact that us millennials will always remember the good times we had with friends and loved ones instead of stupid impulse buys from shopping thinking we need a new pair of shoes when in reality we don't (ha)! For this post, I am going to make my bucket list and plans that I have for over summer to show that buying more experiences creates so many more memories than materialistic things.

Image via Pinterest
Sooooo, I've decided this year is the year that I want to fill full of memories, experiences and events instead material things. Where are you planning on adventuring to in 2017? Here's my filled list of upcoming things I have to enjoy and others I'd love to happen...

♡ Jax Jones at the end of DEADLINE week
♡ Summer holiday to Greece with my family :)
♡ Seeing The Vamps (twice bc I'm such a fangirl)
♡ Taking Mum to see Robbie Williams
♡ My 19th Birthday celebrations
♡ The excitement and stress of moving into my second-year house!!
♡ Jess Glynne at the Races with family friends
♡ Little Mix summer show
♡ Creamfields

and my dream plans would be...

♡ Spontaneous city day trips or breaks away
♡ Sunny days sat in the park and beer gardens with friends
♡ A road trip to the beach for ice cream on a sunny day
♡ Getting out more with my camera and capturing the moments that are often missed
♡ Exploring new places with a bunch of friends and making the best memories
♡ Trying new foods and not sticking to what I usually love and go for

Let's encourage others to focus more on making memories and to have more experiences over materialistic things this year!

With Eventbrite, it is the largest self-service ticketing platform in the world that helps people find and plan events.  You should check out their page for to see what is on in your local area so you can plan amazing experiences for family and friends.

Chocolate Salted Popcorn

There's nothing more I love than having nights in, especially the ones that involve films, food, sitting your pyjamas with no makeup on and even more food!! I absolute lurveeee a sweet treat and I'm not going to lie I do like a quick fix of chocolate now and then and POPCORN is the perfect tasty treat for those movie nights in.

Recently I have been venturing with trying new, different recipes and who'd have thought that dark chocolate and salty popcorn would be the perfect snack for these types of night. You bet, the sweet dark choc mixed with salty popcorn is just to die for mmmm!!

You will need:
- One large bar of dark chocolate chopped into tiny pieces.
- A few large pinches of salt
- Microwave popcorn kernels

Let's get making...

Step one: Put the microwave popcorn bag in the microwave and wait for them to pop!! But keep an eye on it otherwise if they over cook they burn and smell awful :( Give them a few minutes to pop away!

Step two: Take them out of the microwave and the bag, pour the popcorn into a bowl big enough for your sweet treat!

Step three: Pour your chocolate onto the popcorn when still warm, a bit at a time, mixing it thoroughly whilst doing so. Do the same with your salt, and keep on mixing so it spreads evenly!

And TA-DAH!! You've got the perfect combo for such a quick easy snack for those evenings in.
